I first discovered Al Di Meola when he was playing with Return to Forever, many years ago. I have been following him through his solo career and as he has teamed with other musicians. His speed and technique is awesome, and he is great in concert. I saw him on my birthday in Seattle, and while he was signing autographs, he was pleased I had chosen to spend my birthday evening at his concert.
I heartily recommend Al’s music – Fantasia Suite for Two Guitars is one of my all time favorites.
